Hyundai’s all-new Luxury Sedan, Grandeur debuts at Geneva
Hyundai’s all-new Grandeur made its world debut at the 75th Salon de L’Automobile in Geneva, Switzerland.

Designed to compete directly against established European competitors, Grandeur combines high quality materials and construction with European style and meaningful technology. Grandeur shows a road presence and sense
of refinement that take the Hyundai brand to a whole new level.

In terms of dimension positioning, the wheelbase has increased 30mm to 2780 compared with its predecessor, XG. Grandeur has also gained 20mm

in overall length to measure 4.9 meters, longer than the 5-series while for greater occupant comfort, overall width has also been increased by 50mm to 1.85m.

Hyundai also introduced its new concept, HED-1, a design exercise from the European Design Center which provides a glimpse at Hyundai’s offering in the MPV of the future. HED-1 is elegant yet functional vehicle with carefully proportioning elements to emphasize Hyundai’s new brand values of refinement and confidence.

HED-1 is loaded with innovative features such as triangular LED lighting, adjustable dashboard and pedals, pillarless construction for easy entry, various entertainment features, communications, navigation and climate systems.

The Hyundai booth, covering a 1,125 square meter of space at the exhibition, displayed 14 units including the new Sonata, Tucson, and Santa fe.
