Hyundai Motor Company presented the new Accent in three exciting versions at Guangzhou motor show. It is fitting that Hyundai brings the Accent Hybrid, technologically most advanced mass production car, Accent SR concept car and the all-new Accent 4 door sedan to China's birthplace of modern economic miracle.
The first version, Accent SR, a 2-liter turbocharged grand tourismo concept explores future possibilities for Hyundai in high performance territory. Much thought and care has been invested to endow the Accent SR with a purposeful, sporty stance
The second version is the Accent hybrid, Hyundai's first mass-production hybrid. The vehicle is equipped with 1.4 CVVT engine delivering 90 horsepower with additional electric motor of 16 horsepower. It has also achieved 44% improvement in fuel economy.
Finally, the most significant is the new Accent 4 door sedan, which will go into production in China on March 2006. The new Accent offers lower NVH, higher fuel efficiency, improved ride, road-holding and performance with class leading ergonomics and comfort features and elegant styling to prove Hyundai's efforts.
With innovative designs like these, Hyundai's reputation continues to grow more and more in China and around the world.
