Hyundai Elantra Receives 5-Star Safety Rating from NHTSA |
|
(Seoul, Korea) The Hyundai Elantra sedan received the highest possible safety rating from the National Highway Traffic and Safety Administration (NHTSA). Under the New Car Assessment Program (NCAP), the Elantra four- and five-door sedans earned the maximum five-star scores for driver safety in front crash tests as well as the five-star safety rating for front seat safety in side crash tests.
The April 14 release mistakenly stated that a five-star rating was awarded for both driver and front passenger seat safety in the front crash test. In fact, a four-star rating was given for passenger seat safety. We apologize for the error.
