As with all Hyundai vehicles, the Veracruz features a rigid computer optimised, and test proven, unitary safety structure, with load path distribution, crumple zones and reinforcements. The sophisticated suspension includes optional automatic self-levelling. Stopping power is from 17 and 16 inch front/rear discs, with EBD, ABS and 10 inch tandem boosters. For night extra night safety an electro chromic interior mirror with compass is standard. |

New SinterCast techniques and high tensile CGI materials, combined with new piezoelectric 1600-bar direct injection and electronically variable turbo systems, take the new 3.0 V6 S-CRDi right to the forefront of diesel engine technology. The 3.8 V6 Lambda engine features all-aluminium construction, cvvt, dohc and 24 valve technology to give economic, flexible, quiet high performance. Both are mated with new Hyundai 6-speed Shiftronic auto-transmission as standard. |
